Craggy Gardens One small fee per person and you can play over 30 pinball machines ranging from 1960 to 2003 for as long as you like as well as over a dozen classic video games.

Triple Falls One of Asheville’s claim to fame, Craggy Gardens has vivid colors of wildflowers, exposed rock bald and spectacular views of distant peaks at Craggy Gardens, recognized by the state of North Carolina as a National Heritage Area. It is home to a multitude of rare plants and wildlife and easily accessible from the Blue Ridge Parkway. Closed in winter months.

Sandy Bottom Trail Rides Triple Falls in DuPont State Forest offers a unique opportunity to stand (or even have a picnic) in the middle of waterfall! A level rock surface allows plenty of room to safely enjoy the views and cascading water. These amazing falls have been made famous by such movies as “The Last of the Mohicans”, “The Hunger Games”, and “Max”.

Favorite breakfast spot: Located on a secluded ranch minutes north of Asheville, North Carolina that has been in the family for three generations. Picturesque trails pass through the high country, scenic mountain meadows and wooded areas of Madison County.

Navitat Ziplining An unprecedented mountaintop zipline adventure! Nowhere else will you find ziplines this long, this high, and this fast integrated into a truly spectacular wilderness setting. About 30 min north of Asheville, reservation recommended.

Before you leave Western NC, a ride along the Blue Ridge Parkway is a must. Many hiking trails and overlook spots are along this scenic roadway.
